While my husband and I was traveling through the area, we stopped at this little restaurant for lunch. It was good, but if you like chicken tenders, this is the place to go. The tenderness is outstanding.

There was a group of 20 of us and they did a great job serving us. The food was hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend!

Waitress was speedy and knowledgeable of the menu and how things are prepared. Great variety menu, from Southern favorites to some new entrees to try out. First trip I had marinated beef tips that were fork tender, rice and gravy, crispy fried okra and crispy fried squash. Squash is sliced and lightly breaded there in the kitchen. Second trip I had fried shrimp also lightly breaded in the kitchen and a double of the squash. Food was hoping hot and came to the table quickly. Of you stop here you won't be disappointed. Prices are in line with other restaurants but remember a lot of items do not come in frozen and thrown in Grease. A lot is prepared right there in th back.

My husband has been telling me how good this place is, so on our way to the beach, we stopped. It was delicious! We got breakfast sandwiches to go. Can't wait to stop again and dine in

Overall I would have given it 3.5/5 if I could but it comes with explanation. We were traveling from the Charlotte area to Wilmington and love to stop at local diners instead of chains. Truth is though on US74 you will not find hardly any of those. We figured we would try this place. Now this place is nothing fancy. Food did taste good. A bit over priced for what you are getting though. It’s clearly all food frozen and ordered from big food distributors. Chicken tenders, fries, salads, all of it you can tell. Nothing wrong with it just to point out it isn’t fancy. The building is an old convenience store clearly which can throw some people off. But they cleaned it up and remodeled it nicely. It appears clean. Service is average. Nothing over the top but they are friendly. Just a good average place. I would say stop here for a quick bite. I feel like all the great reviews have to be locals because while this is a good place and food was good and I would stop again it would be because it’s the only place around. If it wasn’t I wonder if the reviews would be the same.
